Our story
Event inside the Natural History museum

Not your average event catering company

At the Recipe we guide our clients using a very personalised ethos, working closely with our clients from the initial telephone call at the early planning stages, all the way through to the day of the event and onsite. We feel this ensures a consistent communication and a seamless experience throughout. We give our clients a safe pair of hands to guide their whole experience. We take care of everything with ease, expertise, knowledge and warmth.

Our history

Established in 2006 by the Wolanski Brothers, The Recipe evolved into one of London's most fun and creative events companies, most recently in 2022 the company has passed into a private shareholding led by Piotr Roszewski, retaining its uniquely private independent status in a very competitive London market.

The new leadership has continued to focus on the exceptional delivery of beautifully styled events and parties, which remain at the core of the business.
As we approach almost two decades the review of the company structure saw the appointment of a new MD and Head of Sales and Events.

Our Chef team have remained consistent throughout the changes and with a new development chef we continue to create exquisite food for some of the most prestigious events in London and the U.K.

Key moments

2018

The Recipe catered an event at the Tower of London. Boston Consulting’s global annual conference had 1,600 attendees. This was the largest catered event at The Tower, and the first time the venue had closed early to permit a corporate event to take place.

2019

The Recipe catered an event at the Natural History Museum for a large energy conglomerate. With a total attendance of 3,500 guests this event required all event spaces in the Museum to be used. It remains the largest event catered at the NHM.

2022

The largest event we have hosted was the Women’s Euros 2022 in Trafalgar Square. This event saw us welcome a maximum capacity of 7000 to cater for at any one time but across a whole day we would welcome around 40-50,000 people who visited the square to celebrate. This event spanned a 9-day period where we catered for an approximate total of around 450,000 guests within this time.
