60th Birthday Party

The gorgeous grounds of this private residence was the perfect setting for our clients 6oth Birthday celebrations. 120 close family & friends were invited to a cabaret evening of fine food & entertainment. The five course menu they enjoyed included:

Butternut Squash "Macchiato" with Toasted Seeds & Crispy Sage

Broccolli Risotto with Poached Quails Egg & Truffled Foam

Tuna Two Way; Lightly Seared & Carpaccio with Pickled Ginger, Radish & Avocado

Basil Crusted Lamb,  Aubergine Puree, Black Olives, Saffron Potato Fondant, Confit Tomato & Goats Curd.

Chocolate & Liquorice Mousse w/ Blackcurrant Poached Apples & Blackcurrant Meringue

Individual plate of  petit fours; Rum Soaked Pineapple with Coconut Foam, Orange Polenta Cake with Edible Flowers & Salted Chocolate Caramels.

Friday Night Dinner

The night before the client's big 60th Birthday celebrations we were tasked with catering a traditional Jewish Friday Night Dinner with the-recipe twist! 

The meal commenced with "Chopped Liver and Egg & Onion" served in a contemporary style with pickled carrots. No Friday Night Dinner would complete without "Chicken Soup" and this was served at the table from china teapots with the traditional accoutrements.  "Roast Chicken" main course was accompanied by roast potatoes, asparagus, feves, tzimmes and a delicious salt beef croquette.

The finale was a trio of Jewish desserts including apple strudel, lockshen pudding and vanilla ice cream. All of the meal was prepared using kosher meat and was completely non dairy. 

Golden Wedding Anniversary

A beautiful private garden was the setting for this most elegant golden wedding anniversary celebration. The lunch fell on a  lovely summers day in June and refreshing rum cocktails set the tone for lunch. For starters they had asparagus and poached duck's egg followed by pan seared snapper. A deliciously stinky selection of cheeses were offered for those without a sweet tooth and for those who preferred a pudding we served a strawberry 'crumble' with raspberry sorbet.

Birthday Party with Banana Split

Alongside the brilliant Banana Split we organised an amazing joint 18th & 21st Birthday Party in October. Held at the very trendy Shoreditch Studios guests ate from a variety of fun food stalls including Thai Street Food, stone baked pizza from Pizza Pilgrims and to top it off we had the Big Apple Hot Dog Cart serving their famous 'Pimp Steak' hot dog.
